Shotlist

Plan the shots before you burn the credits.

Lay out scenes, shots and camera moves, describe each character once, and copy a consistent prompt for every shot into whichever AI video tool you use. Everything stays in your browser.

The free version keeps one project in this browser. Save the .json file to keep a copy.

Project

Characters Describe each one once. The same description goes into every shot they're in, which keeps them consistent.

How it works

  1. Project: set the aspect ratio, a visual style and things to avoid. These go into every prompt.
  2. Characters: write one fixed description per character (look and wardrobe). Tick who is in each shot and the exact same words are included, so your hero doesn't change hair colour between clips.
  3. Scenes and shots: pick the shot type, angle and camera move, describe the action, and set a rough duration.
  4. Copy out: copy one prompt or all of them, as a paragraph or as labeled fields. They're tool-neutral plain text, so adjust the wording for the generator you use.

Shotlist doesn't generate video and doesn't call any AI model. Your project is stored only in this browser (localStorage) unless you download it.
